Aluminium joinery is designed to last, and whether you have windows, ranch sliders, or window and door handles only a small amount of maintenance is required. If you have re-coated with Systemex then cleaning only needs to take place twice a year. And you can easily wash the joinery when you are cleaning the windows or washing down the house in general. A mild diluted detergent, used with a soft sponge should do the trick.

Three to four coats of your chosen paint colour are sprayed onto the joinery. For a metallic finish a further two coats of clear coat are applied.
A corrosion-inhibiting epoxy primer with excellent bonding characteristics is applied to your aluminium joinery, before we apply the colour.
An etch is applied to all bare aluminium to improve adhesion of the primer.

Adjacent finished surfaces are thoroughly protected so there is no chance of overspray. Where possible, all hinges and catches are removed as well as window sashes and doors. The surrounds and glass are masked ready for the paint to be applied.
