Systemex Adds Value to Commercial
Property all over NZ
Recolouring is the fastest way to makeover aluminium joinery. Here's a couple of examples of work we
have done lately.

Zone 23 is a $30m mixed use commercial and residential development situated on Mount Eden on the fringe of Auckland city. The new
building was constructed in the footprint of an existing warehouse and office. There are two floors of commercial mainly office space with a floor of
two-storey maisonette-style apartments.
New joinery worth $1.4m was installed but required recolouring due to inconsistent powder coat and localised construction damage. Systemex was engaged
to sand and recolour the joinery to match the original powder coat colour. The exterior work was completed during normal working hours while the
interiors were recoloured after hours and during the weekends. The final result was approved by the construction company, the project architect, the
owner, the paint company and the window supplier.

Recolour: Custom metallic silver
The six storey building Westpac building in Tauranga offers quality retail and office space in the heart of the CBD. It is glass curtain walled and
exterior aluminium framed. The ground floor has wide window frontage onto The Strand and Devonport Road.
The black colour of the aluminium had deteriorated and dated the building. Architects suggested the ground floor
retail space be recoloured a more modern silver grey. Quay Property Management contacted Systemex, as the company had previously done a small recolouring
job elsewhere in the building. Systemex completed the joinery makeover ahead of schedule and carried out the work with a minimum of disruption for the
tenants.
